Return
You can return an order placed through our official webshop within 30 days after delivery. The order cannot be returned or exchanged at another Buddha to Buddha store. You can register the return shipment via our return portal: Click here. After registration, you will receive a return form and a shipping label (QR code/barcode).
The consumer is responsible for a return shipment. So make sure you pack your return carefully and keep the proof of shipment safe until your return has been processed. Without this we cannot handle any claims of missing shipments.
You pay a fee for returning an order. The amount of this fee depends on the shipping method and any insurance you choose. The different options and costs vary by country and are visible in the return portal. For the Netherlands, the costs are as follows:
Standard return costs without protection (shipping at your own risk):
PostNL: €2.49
DPD: €2.99
DHL: €3.49
If you choose an insurance protection, additional costs will apply. The return portal always shows 2 options: an option to partially insure the return shipment (an amount lower than the purchase price) and an option to fully insure the return shipment. The costs for the insurance protection depend on the value you want to insure and can be found in the return portal. If you have chosen insurance, the purchase amount will be (partially) reimbursed by the insurance company in case of loss or damage to the package. Click here for the terms and conditions. If a package is damaged or lost without insurance, we can only contact the shipping company to start an investigation. If the shipment is declared lost, no compensation or replacement can be provided.
If you send a defective piece of jewelry from an order placed before September 1, 2024, or is not purchased from our official webshop and therefore cannot be registered via the return portal, the return costs are entirely at your own expense and risk. Buddha to Buddha is not responsible for shipments that arrive incomplete or damaged. Make sure you pack the jewelry carefully in a package (not an envelope), sending the shipment registered and insured, including track & trace, and keep the proof of shipment safe until we confirmed that we received your package. Return conditions:
- You can return or exchange orders placed via the official Buddha to Buddha webshop within 30 days after delivery.
- Jewelry including an engraving cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Piercing cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygienic reasons once the packaging has been opened.
- To receive the full refund, items must be returned undamaged with the labels still attached. All items are checked upon receipt. For items that are visibly worn or damaged, in unacceptable condition, or returned without labels, we may charge a fee or the return will not be accepted.
- Packaging and any free products must also be returned. If this is not done, the commercial price will be charged.
- Any claim to a discount promotion expires if you return items from an order and the total amount falls below the threshold amount of the relevant campaign. If you wish to return part of a set, the special set price will be expired and the original price will be applied.

Exchange
If you wish to receive a different size, you can indicate in the return portal that you want to exchange the jewelry. Please note: after the request, the desired item is not yet reserved. The exchange will only be processed once we have received the return package. Once the exchange has been processed, you will automatically receive a notification from us. If you wish to receive a completely different piece of jewelry instead of a different size, you would need to place a new order via the website yourself.
Exchanges from abroad: If the 'exchange' option is not visible in the return portal, it is not possible to request an exchange from your country. You can only return the order and then place a new order yourself for the desired size.
Personalized jewelry
Items with an engraving cannot be returned or exchanged. If a mistake has been made during the production process of your jewelry, we will resolve this as soon as possible. In this case, please contact our customer service via email, phone, or WhatsApp. Please mention your order number and include a photo of the jewelry so we can assist you as best as possible.
Refund
After receiving your package, the return will be processed within 5 working days. Buddha to Buddha uses the same payment method for the refund that you used when placing the order.
