Product Warranty and Maintenance Information

Warranty Details:

Silver and Premium Gold-Plated Jewelry:

• All silver and premium gold-plated Buddha to Buddha jewelry comes with a 12-month product warranty that covers construction and manufacturing defects. Attention: Did you make a purchase with us before 1 September 2024? Then your purchase is still covered by our old warranty of 6 (six) months. However, starting from 1 September 2024, we offer a new warranty of 12 (twelve) months on all new purchases.

• Solid Gold Jewelry: All solid gold Buddha to Buddha jewelry comes with a 24-month product warranty that covers construction and manufacturing defects.

• Gold-Plated Jewelry Plating: The plating on Buddha to Buddha premium gold-plated jewelry is covered by a 9-month warranty from the date of purchase. If the plating shows abnormal fading within the first 9 months, we will replate your jewelry free of charge. After 9 months, replating services are available upon request for a fee.

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage, wear, or defects resulting from excessive or improper use, accidental or intentional physical changes

• Discoloration of moving parts, including clasps or safety wires

• Lack of maintenance and hygiene

• Repairs performed by unauthorized individuals or damage resulting from such repairs

• Jewelry purchased from unauthorized resellers or sample sales

To confirm the validity of your warranty, proof of purchase is required.

Repair Information:

Repairs Covered by Warranty:

If your purchase was made at one of our dealers, please contact the respective point of sale for repairs. For purchases made directly at buddhatobuddha.com, submit your return request via our return portal. Upon receipt, the product will be individually assessed to determine if the repair concerns a construction or manufacturing defect.

Repairs Not Covered by Warranty:

For repairs not covered by the warranty, a quote will be provided by Buddha to Buddha. Once approved, your repair will be processed.

Replating Service:

If your gold-plated jewelry loses its shine and color, we offer a replating service for a fee, outside of the warranty. This includes refurbishing the jewelry (excluding deep scratches or dents). The process involves polishing the piece and then reapplying gold. For more information, email store@buddhatobuddha.com.

Maintenance Instructions:

925 Sterling Silver:

• Avoid water and chemicals: Do not wear during activities such as sports, showering, swimming, or cleaning.

• Remove before sleeping: Take off before going to bed to prevent friction and damage.

• Avoid contact with perfume and cosmetics: Apply these before wearing your jewelry to avoid oxidation.

• Store in a dry place: Keep in a dry, cool environment, preferably in the Buddha to Buddha jewelry box. Avoid humid places like bathrooms.

• Clean gently: Use the Buddha to Buddha silver polishing cloth to clean your jewelry.

• Wear with care: Avoid scratches and dents, and protect from rough surfaces and impacts.

Premium Gold Plated:

• Avoid water and chemicals: Do not wear during activities like sports, showering, or swimming.

• Remove before sleeping: Prevent friction and damage.

• Avoid contact with perfume and cosmetics: Apply these before wearing your jewelry.

• Store in a dry place: Keep in a dry, cool environment, preferably in the Buddha to Buddha jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.

• Clean gently: Use a soft cloth to clean your jewelry. Avoid silver polishing cloths or harsh materials.

• Wear with care: Protect from scratches, dents, and rough surfaces.

Solid Gold:

• Avoid contact with chemicals: Avoid wearing during use of chemicals like chlorine.

• Store in a safe place: Use a soft fabric bag or jewelry box to prevent scratches.

• Clean regularly: Use mild detergent and a soft brush, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

• Avoid exposure to heat and sunlight: Prolonged exposure can cause fading.

• Wear with care: Avoid rough tasks or lifting heavy objects.

Leather:

• Avoid contact with water: Leather can shrink or discolor when wet.

  Protect from UV light and chemicals: Exposure to sunlight and contact with perfume or lotion can cause discoloration.

Spirit Beads:

• Made from natural gemstones, each bead may vary. Avoid water to prevent damage and rusting of the magnetic clasp.

Black Rhodium:

• The Black Rhodium finish may fade naturally over time. Avoid using cleaning cloths or chemicals, as they can affect the special dark finish.
