What really sets our Premium Gold Plated selection apart is its quality. While regular gold-plated jewelry brands often use base metals such as brass, copper, or silver, at Buddha to Buddha we always work with the precious metal 925 sterling silver as a base. 

Furthermore, most gold-plated jewelry is plated with a layer of gold which is only 0.25 to 1.0 microns thick. Our jewelry is plated with a layer of 18-karat gold which is at least 3.0 microns thick. This is up to five times thicker than regular gold plating. The result is a more durable finish that stays beautiful for a long time. 

The combination of 925 sterling silver as the base material and the thicker 18-karat gold plating allows us to offer a perfect balance between price and quality, without compromising on craftsmanship.
